Mechanistic Modeling

I use mechanistic models to understand how climate change affects animal populations currently and under likely future conditions. By incorporating data on eco-physiology, behavior, and the environment, my models provide a comprehensive understanding of the risks associated with acute and chronic exposure to high temperature. Further, I examine how these risks affect populations and the likelihood of collapse under climate change.
